A YOUNG rock band are crossing their fingers for festival success after their latest single topped an online chart.
Reachback, who have become established regulars at the The Space youth centre, in Traps Hill, Loughton, are currently at the number one position on the website redbullbedroomjam.com.
If they maintain their current success they could be rewarded with a performance slot at top festivals including Download, and T in the Park.
Their position on the website is rated by how many people view their uploaded music video, webpage, and myspace site.
Guitarist Tom McHenry, 19, from Loughton, said: “Its been incredible how many people who have been on the website and posted positive things to keep us at the top of the buzz chart.
“Out of so many bands we are in with a really good chance of winning now, but we need everyone to keep voting until next Monday.”
Reachback have already made many live performance at the Space, which is based next to Loughton Library, and are set to record their first single at Soundlab Studios, in Oakwood Hill, Loughton.
