THE PARENTS' association at one of the borough's most successful schools will celebrate a momentous anniversary later this summer.
Forest School's Parents Association will mark its 175th birthday this year and is hold a 'Summer Extravaganza' to celebrate.
Visitors to the event will be able to enjoy entertainment straight from the 'big top', courtesy of Happy's Circus, including clowns, illusionists, and high-wire acts.
Tickets for the circus are £8 for adults, £6 for children or £25 for a family ticket (two adults, two children). The show is at 2pm and tickets must be purchased in advance.
Elsewhere in the school's ground, there will be a series of 13 inflatable – provided by Go-Bonkers – including a 26-foot climbing frame, assault courses, giant slides, pole jousting, and bouncy castles.
Tickets to this attraction are £7, which includes a wristband allowing access all day.
While their children are wearing themselves out with all the various attractions on offer, parents can enjoy a Pimms tent, a barbecue, live music and a selection of craft stalls.
The event will take place on Saturday July 3, from 12pm to 4:30pm.
