Police in Hemnall Street this lunchtime. The thief is believed to have run off down the street.
A SHOPLIFTER who stole a trolley's worth of items from a supermarket was chased through Epping this lunchtime by police.
The thief struck at Marks and Spencer in the High Street at around 12.30pm.
They then ran down an alley and were pursued by officers, but managed to escape.
Anyone with information that can help police catch the shoplifter can call officers on 0300 333 4444.
