A FORUM for people with disabilities or the elderly is seeking more participants.
Waltham Forest Mobility Forum seeks to improve access for disabled people across the borough and on public transport.
It is facilitated by the council, but is led by disabled and older people who live or work in Waltham Forest.
Its annual general meeting is on June 10 at 7pm, in Chestnuts Hall at the back of the Town Hall, in Forest Road, Walthamstow. A sandwich buffet will be provided.
The key speaker is Mark Dyer from the Olympic Delivery Authority, who will talk about disabled access at the London 2012 Olympics.
The group is looking for more people to take part and bring along any issues that need to be tackled.
The group is also seeking a new chair or vice-chair.
For more information, contact the current chair, Flash Bristow, at flash@gorge.org or call 07939 579090 any afternoon.
