FILM club students learned how to create special effects with the help of an industry expert.
Ed Hall, a visual effects adviser whose recent credits include Clash of the Titans, The Bourne Ultimatum, and James Bond film, Casino Royale, visited Barclay Primary School in Canterbury Road, Leyton, last Thursday.
The event was organised by the school's film club teachers, Damion Keane and Ella Hartley, who run weekly after-school sessions for pupils to learn about film analysis.
Deputy head, Susan Black, said: "He showed them his work and they used a screen for the children to create scenarios, which were then digitally enhanced to see how special effects work.
"It was great because he has been involved in big films, so it was great to have him here."
