TOTTENHAM'S players enjoyed impressive outings for England during the team's 3-1 friendly victory over Mexico on Monday.
Peter Crouch notched his 21st goal for his country to give the Three Lions a two-goal advantage after he had laid on Spurs defender Ledley King for the opener early on.
King played the entire game at the heart of England's defence, proving to manager Fabio Capello that he is durable enough to last the pace when the World Cup rolls around.
Crouch impressed alongside Wayne Rooney up front, while Tom Huddlestone, Aaron Lennon and Jermaine Defoe also featured in the second half. Michael Dawson was an unused substitute.
All will be keen to gatecrash Capello's final 23-man squad that leaves for South Africa next month.
