THE council's new Conservative-Lib Dem coalition cabinet has been announced.
The two groups agreed to run the authority together after no single party was able to take overall control following the local elections.
Tory, Keith Prince, will continue as council leader with new Lib Dem boss Ian Bond as his deputy.
Cllr Prince will also have responsibility for Finance and the council's budget, with Cllr Bond taking on the Resources portfolio.
Conservative member for Bridge ward John Fairley-Churchill is cabinet member for Adult Social Services with former council leader Alan Weinberg running Children's Services.
Lib Dem councillor Shoaib Patel will take responsibility for the Environment and Community Safety portfolio while Wanstead ward councillor Michelle Dunn will continue as cabinet member for Highways.
Housing, Leisure and Planning and Regeneration will be run by Cllrs Robin Turbefield, Sue Nolan and Nick Hayes respectively.
