THE family of a man believed to have been murdered has offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to his discovery.
Mahmood Ahmad went missing on March 7 and his severed thumb was found in and Ilford car park three days later.
Detectives believe the 41-year-old was murdered, and have charged five men - including one from Leytonstone and another from Ilford - with murder and other offences.
His wife Farah Ahmed yesterday made an emotional plea for people to come forward and help police with their investigation.
The 37-year-old said: "The past few months have been a living nightmare for all of us and we are so desperate for information about Mahmood.
"Not knowing what has happened to him is extremely difficult to deal with.
"We are facing a daily battle to try and come to terms with everything and I would like to make a plea to anyone who has any information which can help the police and bring us some closure to call police or Crimestoppers.
"We realise it may be difficult for you to pass on the details but I would urge you to think about what myself and the family are going through."
Mr Ahmed was kidnapped from outside his family home in Watford during the early hours of March 7.
Arnold Yousaf, aged 18, from Cann Hall Road, Leytonstone, is charged with murder, conspiracy to kidnap and conspiracy to falsely imprison Mahmood Ahmad.
Sharif Mohammed, 36, from Vista Drive in Ilford, has been charged with murder and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Mohammed Riaz, 33, of no fixed abode, Amirzada Hussain, 36, of Churston Avenue, Plaistow, and a 17-year-old boy from London, who cannot be named becaused of his age, have been charged with murder and other offences.
Two women have also been charged in connection with his kidnap.
They are 35-year-old Sabra Sultana, from Kiwi Terrace in Ilford, who is charged with conspiracy to pervert the course of justice and conspiracy to falsely imprison, and Wazirea George, 41, from Impey Close in Thorpe Astley, near Leicester, who is charged with assisting an offender.
