A WIDE range of family fun will be on offer in Redbridge during the half-term break.
Face painting, arts and crafts, and sports sessions are just some of the activities planned across the borough between Monday May 31 and Friday June 4.
A council spokeswoman said: "There's an opportunity to learn more about creatures that live in ponds on Thursday June 3 with Pond Dipping in Ray Park, Woodford Green, and wildlife fans can also see a variety of insects, birds and amphibians on display at a Meet the Animals session in Valentines Mansion Gardens, Ilford, on Wednesday June 2.
"For the more energetic, multi-sports sessions are taking place from Tuesday June 1 to Friday June 4 at Wanstead Leisure Centre, in Redbridge Lane West - with daily activities for children including Kwik Cricket, football, basketball, tennis, and team games.
"Redbridge Libraries are hosting storytelling and crafts sessions across the borough.
"Redbridge Museum, located in Ilford Central Library, will be running two craft events across the week linked to the current temporary exhibition, 'Pakistan Through a Lens.'
