Wahab Zaaki of Old Church Road, Chingford, was stabbed in the chest during a fight between a large group of youngsters in Atlee Terrace in Shernhall Street, Walthamstow, in March last year.
On Monday police arrested ten people at addresses in Leytonstone, Walthamstow and Islington, where two guns and an unspecified quantity of crack cocaine were found.
Three men, two 18-year-olds and a 22-year-old were arrested on suspicion of murder.
Two women, aged 22 and 21, were held on suspicion of perverting the course of justice.
A 16-year-old girl was arrested on suspicion of firearm offences in connection with the murder inquiry.
A further four people - a 13-year-old boy, a man aged 39, a 19-year-old woman and a girl of 15 - were held on suspicion of drug and firearms offences unconnected to the murder of Mr Zaaki.
They have all been bailed until unspecified dates in June.
