The enchanting world of Aesop will be sprinkled with even more magic in a puppet show at Parndon Wood Nature Reserve.
Taking place in the reserve’s ancient woodland, Forest of Fables brings Aesop’s stories to vivid life in this puppet extravaganza. There will also be a free workshop at 1.30pm for ticket-holders, and children attending will have the chance to make their own puppet animal from newspaper they bring along on the day. The puppet creations may feature in the show, while those taking part can also learn the songs.
As the performance is outdoors, audience members are advised to bring with them a picnic blanket and warm clothing.
Saturday, June 5 at 3pm at Parndon Wood Nature Reserve, Parndon Wood Road, Harlow. Contact Harlow Playhouse: 01279 431945, www.playhouseharlow.com
