YOUNGSTERS from across Redbridge will get the chance to follow in the footsteps of Ray Mears by learning some basic bushcraft skills.
Children will be taught how to survive in the wild during the Bushcraft Shelter Challenge at Hainault Forest Country Park on Saturday June 5.
Youngsters aged eight and over will get the chance to stay overnight at the free event, which begins at 11am.
The 11am to 1pm session is suitable for children of all ages.
