A PENSIONER has lost his two-month fight for life after the mobility scooter he was riding collided with a motorbike on a zebra crossing.
The 65-year-old, who has not been named, died on Monday (May 25) following the accident on Kings Head Hill in Chingford at 8.15am on Saturday, April 15.
The rider of the motorcycle was travelling east when the collision occured. He was treated for minor injuries. No-one has been arrested.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
Detective Sargeant Abi Lambkin, of the Collision Investigation Unit, said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision to contact police. They may hold vital information to help us piece together the exact movements of both vehicles prior to this fatal collision."
