A PENSIONER has pleaded not guilty to stabbing his neighbour.
Robert Ernest Baines, 74, appeared at Snaresbrook Crown Court today charged with wounding with intent and causing affray.
Mr Baines, who is more widely known as Bobby, is alleged to have attacked his neighbour with a knife in their block of flats in Mill Lane, Woodford Green, on Monday, March 15.
It is also alleged that he then threatened police officers with the weapon when they arrived at the scene.
After entering his plea he was ordered to return to court again on Monday October 11.
