ESSEX County Council's business banking scheme will be discussed at the next meeting of the Epping Forest Chamber of Commerce.
The Banking on Essex scheme, set up by the county council to provide loans to businesses, has been in the headlines recently over concerns about its efficiency.
County councillor Kevin Bentley along with key officers from Banking on Essex will be available to speak to local businesses at Woolston Manor Golf & Country Club, in Abridge Road, Chigwell, from 7.30am on Wednesday, June 16.
Also on the day, Andree Gowar from the Epping Forest 14-19 Education Consortium will discuss ways employers can get involved with school initiatives.
Admission to the event is £12 for Chamber of Commerce members or £15 for guests, which includes admission and full English, vontinental or vegetarian breakfast.
