CHILDREN and staff at Waltham Abbey Library had a fun morning of reading and activities when they held a teddy bears picnic.
Babies and youngsters aged up to eight years old heard stories, played games and had a treasure hunt around the building as part of the event.
Library manager Cheryl Cox said: "Everyone had a great time. It's just one of the things we like to do regularly in the holidays for the little people.
"We chose to do a teddy bears picnic because all the staff love teddy bears and it gave us an excuse to bring ours in too."
The next big event at the library is a reading challenge on Saturday July 17.
