WALTHAM ABBEY: Body found in river
A DEAD body has been discovered in the River Lea.
The find was made by officers searching for missing man David Crook, 66, who was last seen in Highbridge Street, Waltham Abbey, in the early hours of Monday (May 31).
Mr Crook's family have been informed but the body has not yet been formally identified.
The Essex Police Marine unit found the body at about 1.40pm today near Rammey Marshes in Waltham Abbey.
