ARSENAL will kick the new Premier League season off with a tough trip to Liverpool on August 14.
The away day at Anfield is the only match that manager Arsene Wenger will approach with trepidation, as there is little else to fear for the rest of August and September. Newly-promoted Blackpool are the first visitors to the Emirates on August 21, and that game is followed by fixtures against Blackburn Rovers (a) on August 28, Bolton Wanderers (h) on September 11, Sunderland (a) on September 18 and West Brom (h) on September 25.
A trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on October 2 is the next match against one of the 'Big Four'. Other noteworthy dates include Manchester City (a) on October 23, Tottenham (h) on November 20 and Manchester United (a) on December 11.
