A BLUES group will top the bill at a summer music event later this month.

Nine Below Zero will headline Music in Wanstead Park on Saturday July 17, along with a host of other music including pop, indie rock, and 30s swing.

The event, which is organised by the Aldersbrook Families Association, will also feature a wide range of other stall, a climbing wall, live owls and snakes, 'It's A Knockout', and much more.

And if taking in all that fun sounds like hungry work, Star of India will be on hand with a range of delicious curries, as well as a BBQ and a drink stall.

The event runs from 2pm to 11pm, and tickets cost £6 on the day from the entrance on Northumberland Avenue.
