DETECTIVES will re-visit the street where a man was gunned down in search of witnesses.
Wayne Powell of Tottenham, died after being shot several times in High Station Avenue, south Chingford, at about 11.15pm on Monday, July 5.
It is believed the 39-year-old was sitting in his black BMW when he was approached by a lone gunman and was shot as he tried to run away.
The killer then ran along a footpath in the direction of Coningsby Gardens.
Officers from Operation Trident will be at the scene of the murder and the surrounding area between 10pm and midnight tonight (July12) to speak to residents and passers by.
They will also hand out leaflets in the hope of jogging someone’s memory about the incident.
No arrests have been made.
