A TEN-DAY celebration of the arts in Leytonstone kicks-off today.
The Meridian Opera, from the Trinity College of Music, will be performing a number of scenes from various Operas at St John’s Church this lunchtime.
The three-hour performance begins at 1pm and is free.
The Star of India restaurant in High Road will host a curry and quiz night.
Tables for four or six are available for £10 per person A drum curcle will be formed at jazz venue Luna Lounge in Church Lane from 7.30pm.
Everyone is welcome to join in and admission is £4.
The festival runs until July 25 and will see a variety of events at various venues in Leytonstone.
