PARENTS across the borough as being urged to make the switch to 'real' nappies to save money and help the environment.
Redbridge Council is trying to encourage parents to use cloth or washable nappies, instead of their disposable alternatives, and have got local businesses involved with their efforts.
Sid & Evie's in South Woodford can offer advice to Mums and Dads about the benefits of making the switch, and are also part of Redbridge's £30 voucher scheme for babies under 18 months.
There are also a series of 'Nappy Natter' drop-in sessions (with free coffee) across the borough on the last Thursday each month.
They are held at Lily's Indulgence Café in Wanstead High Street from 2pm to 3.30pm, and at Coffee Republic in Ilford High Road, from 10.30am to 12pm.
