THE eleventh Music in Wanstead Park was the best yet, according to one of the organisers.
The annual spectacular was held on Saturday, July 17, and attracted more than 3,000 people.
There was something for all ages and Gill James, the event manager, said headline act Nine Below Zero were a huge hit.
She said: "I think it was our biggest crowd ever, it was terrific.
"We were helped by perfect weather and the music programme was our best ever."
The music catered for all tastes as there was everything from pop to indie rock and blues and swing.
Nine Below Zero, who regularly play festivals all over Europe, played a little closer to home as drummer Brendan O’Neill lives in Wanstead.
His two daughters Jennifer and Katherine also performed with indie rock band Bleech. .
The entertainment included an urban climbing wall, pony rides, a football shoot -out, morris dancing and plenty more.
The organisers thanked Redbridge Arts Council and the council's area one committee for grants that help make the event possible.
