A SECOND serial flasher is targeting people in the district with four recorded incidents in just over a month.
Police said they are linking one male suspect to four recent cases of indecent exposure in Waltham Abbey.
The first incident occurred at 11.45pm on Thursday, June 3 at Shernbroke Road. The second at approximately 2.30am on Saturday, July 3 at Shernbroke Road. The third happened approximately 3.55am on the same date at Farthingale Lane and the fourth incident occurred at 9.15pm on Friday July 16 at Paradise Road.
Neighbourhood policing Inspector Hayley King said: “Although none of the victims were approached or harmed, we are keen to identify this man to prevent him from carrying out any more indecent acts. We urge people to contact us immediately should they have information about this man or if they are aware of any similar incidents.”
The suspect is described as a white male, aged 18 to 24, 5ft 8ins tall , of slim build, and with blond to light brown short hair. He had large eyes, and was wearing a dark green, grey or blue hoody.
The search for the Waltham Abbey suspect comes two weeks after police revealed they are looking for a serial flasher in the Loughton area. Crimes in the two separate areas are not being linked, and police believe they are dealing with two separate suspects.
