LEA Valley Church will hold a family fun day at Abbey Gardens, Waltham Abbey, in aid of the forces charity Help for Heroes on July 31.
There will be a motorbike ride to the event, which runs from 11am to 5pm and will include traditional games such as a coconut shy and bouncy castles for children and adults.
Church pastor Geoff Ace will lead the ride, organised by Roundhills Residents' Association, from the Biker Tea Hut in High Beech to the event at 11am, passing through Epping Forest, Upshire, Ninefields, Roundhills and the centre of Waltham Abbey.
A minimum donation of £5 towards Help for Heroes is suggested for each rider and anyone interested in taking part can email h4h@roundhills.org.uk
The charity provides practical help to members of the armed forces affected by conflict.
