THREE Woodford Green residents have been charged following a drugs bust in Norfolk.

In total eight people face charges after 750 cannabis plants were discovered at a factory unit in Roman Way, Thetford.

Malcolm Campbell, 49, Maureen Pitts, 52, and Luke Pitts-Campbell, 19, all from Greenstead Gardens, Woodford Green, were charged on Wednesday, July 21.

Mr Campbell has been charged with two counts of money laundering totalling £29,640, conspiracy to produce cannabis and abstracting £59,649 worth of electricity without authority.

Ms Pitts faces two counts of money laundering totalling £17,420 and Mr Pitts-Campbell has been charged with money laundering £8,811.

Police carried out a drugs raid at the unit on December 23 last year.

Two men and two women, aged between 30 and 55-years-old, from St. Neots, Cambridgeshire, and a 24-year-old woman from Dunstable, Bedfordshire, face similar charges.

All eight have been released on bail and are due to appear at King’s Lynn Magistrates' Court on August 13.
