DISGRACED former MP Harry Cohen has sold his "second" home in Wanstead, making a reported £90,000 profit.
Mr Cohen, who represented Leyton and Wanstead until he stood down at the May general election following revelations about his expenses, is said to have left London following the sale of the house in Woodcote Road.
Mr Cohen was made to apologise to the House of Commons after he wrongly registered the property as his second home, which he had enhanced and developed with taxpayers' money.
He reportedly bought the house for £375,000 in 2005 but sold it for £465,000.
However it had originally been put on the market for £475,000 by Wanstead estate agents Petty Son and Prestwich.
It has been claimed by friends of Mr Cohen that he has moved into his "main" home in Colchester, Essex.
