THERE are lots of fun things to do at Epping Forest District Museum during the summer holidays.
On Saturday, August 7, the museum, in Sun Street, Waltham Abbey, is holding its annual Family Fun Day with willow crown weaving, sandcastles and pond dipping in the garden.
Miraiker’s World of Puppets will be performing the Three Little Pigs puppet show during the day and the activities are available between 11am and 4pm. Admission is free.
The venue is also holding a drop-in event every Tuesday between 12pm and 4pm until August 31 where for £1 an activity children can take part in everything from making clay pots to designing their own travel poster.
There are also art and craft activities every Sunday between 2.30pm and 4pm until the end of September at a charge of £1 per activity.
