MUSLIMS are being urged to give up smoking during the upcoming holy month of Ramadan.
The Co-operative Pharmacy in Jubilee Parade, Snakes Lane, Woodford Green, is offering a tailored service for fasting Muslims who want to kick the habit.
This year's Ramadan period is from August 11 to September 10 and during this time the pharmacy will be offering specialist advice about quitting smoking during the period of daylight fasting.
They can also ask for help about about changing the time at which they take medicines in order to avoid breaking their fast.
