A MAN was stabbed in Leytonstone High Road last night.
Police say they were called to the Diamond supermarket, close to the junction with Davies Lane, following reports of a fight just before 8.10pm.
Officers said the man, thought to be in his 20s, had been assaulted and had also suffered a number of knife wounds.
He was rushed to hospital but his condition is not thought to be life-threatening.
A police spokesman said: "Our inquiries are on-going".
No arrests have been made.
It comes less than a week after 29-year-old Andrew Moskal was stabbed trying to break up a fight in the High Road.
His family say they expect him to make a full recovery.
