FIGURES reveal that a special police search team in the borough has made 66 arrests in its first two weeks on the streets.
A total of 541 searches have been carried out by the Territorial Support Group since it started operating in the borough last month.
Officers have charged 22 people for drug related offences, while two were charged for possessing a knife.
Three were charged for burglary, two for assault and one for robbery.
