YOUNG people will have the chance to talk to experts about safe sex and relationships at an event next week.
Redbridge Council's teenage pregnancy service will hold an event in Ilford town centre to provide people with information to make informed decisions about these issues, as part of their R U Ready? programme.
The event will also feature a 3D 'Love Tree' sculpture, which will be decorated by heart-shaped notes written by youngsters from the area, focussing on how to show their partners they love them without having sex.
Experts will also be on hand to dispel the myth that all young people are sexually active.
The event will run from 10am to 4pm on Friday, August 13.
