YOUNGSTERS got in the mood for an upcoming cycling event with a special skills session.
Kulveer Ranger, the mayor of London's transport advisor, and the leader of Redbridge Council Keith Prince, joined youngsters from schools across the borough for a coaching session at Redbridge Cycling Centre today (August 4).
The centre will form the start and finish point for the Redbridge Sky Ride, which will take place on Sunday, August 15.
The Sky Ride is part of an ongoing push to get people into more environmentally-friendly modes of transport ahead of the London Olympics in 2012.
During the ride, miles of streets will shut to all cars and vehicles throughout the day, allowing cyclists to see parts of the borough in a totally different way.
