BUDDING artists are being invited to a Chingford cafe to get creative this summer.
Dev Gunes, owner of Scoff’s Sandwich Bar, on Station Road, set up the project to get the community together. Children are invited to draw pictures of ice creams and muffins which will be stuck to the wall. The community will then have until the end of August to vote for a winner.
Mr Gunes said: “We want to get children into the cafe. They can do some colouring and then we will put their pictures on the wall. We are asking customers to choose their favourite picture by sticking stars next to the one they like best. The child with the most stars will win a voucher for a day at a theme park.”
The Summer Club will be running every Tuesday for three to 11-year-olds.
