WELCOME to the second issue of the Chingfordeer, sadly the last issue of the academic year, Chingford’s very own school newspaper.
The second issue of the Chingfordeer will include main news, teen perspectives, sports and achievements.
In this issue we will have articles from some new reporters, Cem Mustafa, Anthony Adamson, Sophia Katsapaou and Jacqueline Kilikita, whilst featuring many existing reporters including William Evans, Charlie Methven and Harry Houldsworth.
Exclusive articles will include the election report and how it will affect us.
The second face2face interview will be with Mr Delali (teacher/support worker) who has been to Haiti and donated supplies to the earthquake casualties.
There is a fascinating article by Kayleigh Martin about the plight of young girls in Argentina who want to play football, but are met with prejudice and insults.
She also looks at a documentary that is trying to raise awareness of the issue and also raise funds for the football girls of Buenos Aries.
The summer concert and Chingford Village Festival are reported on as we celebrate the top quality talent that we have at Chingford Foundation School.
Also in this last issue of the academic year, we will have more dates for the diary to keep you informed of the latest developments.
We do hope you enjoy this last issue of the academic year and we are already excited about next year’s issues and features and we do hope you will be entertained and informed by this issue and many more to come.
All here at the Chingfordeer wish you a happy and peaceful summer holiday.
