A HOSPICE is holding a recruitment session to find new volunteers.
The St Clare Hospice will be recruiting at Loughton Methodist Church in High Road, Loughton, on Thursday, August 19 between 10am and 12.30pm.
The drop-in session will allow anyone considering volunteering the chance to find out more about the hospice, which has more than 400 volunteers.
Dave Bishop, who was recently appointed community and corporate fundraiser for Epping Forest, said: "I’m delighted to have Len Clarke on board as my volunteer collection co-ordinator for the area.
"Len, himself a volunteer, needs the support of others to take part in street collections and small events happening in Epping Forest.
"Volunteering is a great chance to give something back to the community, helping others and working as part of a passionate and fun team."
"Our volunteers are the life blood of the charity, put simply they keep us running and are the faces of the organisation in many places throughout our area.
"Please do consider joining them and being part of something special."
