ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger has tipped striker Marouane Chamakh to be a success story in England following the Moroccan's vital intervention to scrape a point against Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Chamakh challenged goalkeeper Pepe Reina for Tomas Rosicky's cross in stoppage time and got the better of the aerial duel, his effort rebounding off the post and back towards the Liverpool stopper, who could only bundle the ball over his goal-line.
Wenger said afterwards: “Chamakh showed with the goal that he is not frightened to put his head and body in.
“That is exactly what the league is about and that is what we love here.”
