ARSENAL midfielder Cesc Fabregas has been ruled out for up to three weeks with a hamstring injury.
A statement on Arsenal's website indicated the Spaniard will be out of action for between two and three weeks after picking up the injury during the team's 1-1 draw with Sunderland on Saturday.
The injury could rule him out of Arsenal's trip to Stamford Bridge on Sunday week.
Fabregas was withdrawn mid-way through the first half after giving the Gunners the lead with a bizarre goal, having charged down Anton Ferdinand's attempted clearance the ball cannoned off his boot and flew over the goalkeeper and into the net. Darren Bent scored in the 95th minute to rescue a point for the Black Cats.
