A BUDDING artist's work is on show at Walthamstow Central library.
Beverley Grey, of Avon Road in Walthamstow, is displaying 12 of her works - all featuring candles - in the foyer of the building this week.
Ms Grey, 55, has spent the last three months preparing for the exhibition.
She said: "I'm quite a spiritual person and I find candles very inspiring.
"Walthamstow can be quite a gloomy place and I want to help lighten and brighten it up.
"The only true wealth is cultural wealth that can be shared by everyone.
"We're lucky to have things like the E17 Art Trail in Walthamstow but I wish we had something more permanent.
"I only hope Walthamstow can have more things like this so we can have art displayed all year round."
The exhibition runs until Friday.
