A PORTACABIN which was being transported on the back of a lorry smashed into a railway bridge earlier today.
The crash happened in Walthamstow's Wood Street at around 12.30pm.
No-one was injured and the bridge was not seriously damaged, however police were forced to close the road while the wreckage was cleared.
The temporary building struck the underside of the bridge and was thrown into the road, a police spokesman said.
