A SCHOOL'S own version of Glee Club was among the groups that performed at its annual variety show.
The musical theatre club at Debden Park High School, Loughton, inspired by the Channel 4 programme Glee, joined singing, drama and dance groups in the cabaret performance Deck the Hall on December 9 and 10.
The Willingale Road school's artistic director, Seb Ventura, said: “It was a tremendous success this year, with around 200 friends, parents and staff in the audience over both nights.
“The quality of the work was high, especially as some of the songs were tricky and the dance and drama were all original choreography and devised material, often by the students themselves.”
