A MAN and three teenagers are due to answer bail tomorrow after a loaded shotgun was found in a tower block.
Officers from William Morris Safer Neighbourhoods Team recovered the sawn-off shotgun while on patrol in Priory Court, Walthamstow, on October 14.
The group was due to answer bail earlier this month but this was put back after a delay in the forensic report.
The gun was found in a holdall on the floor when officers came out of a lift in the tower block.
After finding the weapon the officers went to speak to a group acting suspiciously in a stairwell area.
They arrested one teenager, aged 16, at the scene for possession of a firearm.
After a police chase another two teenagers, aged 16 and 17, and a man aged 27 were arrested for the same offence. All are from Walthamstow.
