A YOUNGSTER is in the running to appear in a new gravy advert.
Mia Benjamin, seven, of Selby Road, Leytonstone, has beaten hundreds of children to be in the final 20 in the national competition.
Bisto is aiming to get families to sit down together once a week for a meal as part of the advert.
Mia entered the Bisto competition online answering a question about why family mealtime was important and how she would encourage her family to sit down together.
She said: "I would invite my grandparents to dinner as I don’t get to see them that often as they live in Yorkshire.
“I am so excited to have got this far. I hope I can win.”
Her mother Diane said: “We are very excited that she could be in the advert. She has done well to get this far.”
