BLIZZARD conditions were braved by members of the Epping Rotary Club who raised money for those in need last Saturday.
Members of the Rotary Club endured the snow during their annual collection in Epping High Street, where they raised £535 for the charities Home Start, Cross Roads and Churches Together in Epping Christmas Lunch for the Elderly.
Club president Mark Harvey said: "We are extremely grateful to everyone in Epping who contributed, although I'm sure many gave because they felt sorry for us.
"It had started just plain cold and we wondered what had hit us when the snow began to fall, but all members thought we should carry on regardless."
