WEST HAM have reportedly agreed to pay Robbie Keane £65,000 a week but their attempt to land the striker from Tottenham has hit a snag over a loan fee.
According to ESPN, the Hammers are willing to meet the Republic of Ireland international's wage demands, although it is claimed Spurs want a fee to take him to Upton Park for six months and are keen to agree a price of £6million should West Ham want to sign the forward on a permanent basis.
ESPN also report that the Boleyn Ground outfit failed to sign Manchester City pair Wayne Bridge and Shaun Wright-Phillips because of wage demands.
