A WOMAN was treated for smoke inhalation after a kitchen fire yesterday.
The 60-year-old was given oxygen after the fire broke out at a house in Foster Street, near Hastingwood, at about 5.30pm.
Firefighters put the blaze out by 6.40pm and ambulance crews took care of the woman.
Thermal imaging cameras were used to check for hot spots in the house and fire crews cleared it of smoke with fans.
