THE identity of a woman who died in a house fire this week will not be released until Tuesday.
The woman, believed to be aged 65, was found on the ground floor of her house in Leybourne Road, Leytonstone, on Tuesday night.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at 9.30pm, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was believed to have been in the house at the time of the fire.
The woman's details were due to be released yesterday after she was formerly identified.
But the coroner will not be releasing her details until the inquest is opened on Tuesday January 4.
The reasons for the delay are not known.
Police launched an investigation on Wednesday into the cause of the fire, but do not believe it was suspicious.
