A FILM about climate change will be screened for the first time in Leytonstone.
The 30-minute documentary ,called Climate Change? No Thanks!, shows the impact of climate change, drought and tourism in Tamil Nadu, India.
Director Pamela Nowicka has been living in India for a number of years.
The film shows her concerns about the environmental and social legacy of economic growth.
The free screening will be hosted by Transition Leytonstone, a group which encourages people to grow food locally and reduce the use of motorised transport.
It will take place on Wednesday January 12, at Leytonstone Library, from 6.30pm.
The screening will be followed by a panel discussion.
Panel members include film director Pamela Nowicka, local food producers Organiclea, Star of India restaurant owner Shah Ahmed and Ann Williams from Transition Leytonstone.
