A WOMAN who died in a house fire last week has been identified.
Anita Franks Taylor, 67, was found on the ground floor of her house in Leybourne Road, Leytonstone, last Tuesday night.
Firefighters were called to the blaze at 9.30pm, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
No one else was believed to have been in the house at the time of the fire.
A post mortem into Ms Franks Taylor's death was carried out on December 30.
The coroner opened an inquest into her death today.
Police launched an investigation on Wednesday into the cause of the fire, but do not believe it was suspicious.
