THE OWNERS of a pub have promised to meet strict conditions in order to begin trading.
The council's noise team objected to an application from Desilu Estates to re-open The Lord Brooke in Shernhall Street, Walthamstow, because the company had not agreed to a number of conditions to prevent disturbance to residents.
These included guaranteeing that flats within the building were not let and various measures to limit noise.
Desilu Estates has now agreed to the conditions and will not be allowed to play recorded music, or stage live concerts.
The venue has permission to re-open on Monday to Thursday from 11am to 11pm, Friday and Saurday from 11am to 1pm and Sunday from 11am to midnight.
